Sharon found a great photo of Michael from 2006 wearing a keffiyeh, and damn, he makes it look good!
This was shown on MSNBC while he was doing a phone interview about the “Operation Swarmer” air assault on Samarra in March of last year. I’ll be posting an audio recording of the interview on the site as soon as it’s ready.

First off–love the blog! Thanks for giving us space to chat (esp. when good ol’Mick has been MIA from CNN for the past week or so). I honestly can say I don’t watch nearly as much news when there’s not much coming out of Iraq from CNN. (and yes, I know that alot is happening IN Iraq–we’re just not hearing about it).
By the way, I can’t decide if I like this photo or not. He looks even more forlorn/tired than usual. Poor guy!
